What sort of routine diligence will renew me day by day? 2 Cor 4:16-18 What things can I do daily that will offer eternal advantage? 1. Participate in Conversational Prayer to God - Phil 4 Talking, asking and praising 2. Meditate on Words of Wisdom - Prov 4:7-8 Wisdom is the principal thing 3. Consider of your Life Purpose - Adopt a Kingdom purpose for my life “for me to live is Christ!” 4. Recognize the potential of Spirit Filling - Eph 3:20 I can do something greater than myself! 5. Acknowledgement of His Lordship in Everything "a bond servant of Jesus Christ" 6. Follow a Spirit Driven Standard of Righteousness - Liberty motivated by love will always lead to righteousness 7. Pray for or Share the Gospel with at Least One Person - He came to seek and to save that which is lost. |

I am planning on speaking from the book of Titus on the subject of elders and I thought, what a job! I don't know how many Christian people have commented on how difficult my job must be. I have not seen it that way. I love my job. When there are long hours, hard labor or stress, I know it has an eternal Kingdom purpose. When hours of study make my brain hurt, I know it will lead to inspiration, correction and perfection in my own life, and in the lives of others. There is nothing more enriching than ministering to people's spiritual needs and to be reassured by them that the Spirit is using me to bring hope, comfort and peace. What a job. If the Lord permits, I think I'll keep it. |

His purpose in our redemption is clear in Titus 2:14, "that he might purify for Himself His own special people zealous for good works." Oh that our zeal for good works might be equal to His purpose! |

Getting out of the traffic |

Can we see the Lord and experience His presence in the midst of the traffic of life? Perhaps we can, but most often we don't. We need the rising very early in the morning, or at mid-day we need to come away from the crowd just as Jesus did. The night seasons is where we may meet Him or the sabbath day. However we make time alone with Him, we can be sure we will go away blessed. |

Wow, my first blog! I suppose this should be a very serious word about what lies ahead. But I don't know what lies ahead. I am hoping that somehow God will use my random thoughts recorded here to help others know Him better. And I hope to share a little of myself. |
